Delta Core Development, LLC is a residential and commercial construction firm founded in 2006 to primarily deliver solutions to the growing problems of the U.S. construction industry. We searched the marketplace looking for innovative products that would perform better than those currently used in conventional construction methods. We developed design criteria and techniques that address the sustainability and safety issues that today’s market demands. We then combined those two elements of construction, innovative products and proven design techniques, into one comprehensive package called the Delta Core Building System (DCBS).
The Delta Core Building System’s primary building component is a high performance concrete masonry unit (CMU) called Autoclave Aerated Concrete (AAC). This amazing product is truly nothing more than just a CMU. No space age polymers, no volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), nothing harmful to the environment or to the people who come in contact with it. AAC is “GREEN” in all of its forms! It’s light weight, sustainable, versatile, and affordable to all market segments. It is truly the finest single building component in the world!
At Delta Core Development (DCD), we are problem solvers. We identified the problems in today’s marketplace; fire safety, high wind, affordable insurance, energy efficiency, sustainability, and more. We created solutions to these problems by utilizing innovative products, such as AAC in creative designs. We incorporated our innovative product line with proven design techniques, such as those recognized by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the International Building Code (IBC 2006).
